Workshop

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Tim Hill

Psychologist and Certified Neurofeedback Practitioner

Using QEEG to develop Neurofeedback Protocols

Information from a wide variety of sources can be used to develop 'best estimate' protocols for neurofeedback training. This includes clinical evaluations of the client, knowledge of neural networks in the brain and examination of a client's EEG. Models such as Othmer's "Arousal Model" can also be used to help develop appropriate protocols.

This workshop will examine how an evaluation of a client's EEG and QEEG can help decide 'best estimate' protocols for neurofeedback training. This will include a brief discussion about database characteristics, artifacting EEG, and an examination of EEG and QEEG using different montages. The workshop will provide many examples showing how to best use this data to decide 'best estimate' neurofeedback protocols.

Come and meet Dr. Tim and learn from his experience!
